Why this layout?

For a relatively small user base, why do we have upwards of 9 different forum sections? Isn't that a bit overboard? In my experience running forums (which was, admittedly, years ago), it's almost always better to have 2-4 general purpose "category" forum sections, not counting the one or two administrative/meta sections (which I notice we seem to lack).

I'd honestly support collapsing the board down to the main sections for now, right now it's just painful to navigate. And we essentially managed to keep the whole thing in a single thread before with more people than we are likely to have here. (though I do support some basic splitting stuff)

And add a meta-section!

By meta... you mean when we talked about random pony theories and the likes? Thats over in the everfree...

And we could probably put the imagespam and videos together... we don't really need that many threads for either...

No, I mean discussions about the board itself - for now, layout and structure, then maybe moderator stuff, hosting issues, announcements, etc. and so on.

Also, I didn't even realize I was posting here. Why is there no breadcrumb/route? (Or can I just not find it?)

So are there TWO "general discussion" forums?
